King Street, Manchester City Centre
Situated on the prestigious King Street, we converted this heritage red brick building into 10 luxury, energy efficient studio and one-bedroom duplex apartments.
Description
The building is located within the St Ann’s Square conservation area, an area designated by Manchester City Council in 1970 and is considered an important part of Manchester. The buildings in the area vary in architectural style, with the majority being Victorian, some Edwardian and a few of more recent origin. Few properties remain from the 18th century and many buildings in the area are listed due to their special architectural or historic interest.
In order to maintain the area’s rich heritage, we sympathetically restored our King Street apartments, ensuring that are reflection of their surrounding landscape.
Combining exposed brickwork with modern features, each apartment has its own unique identity. Some apartments feature original beams, a nod to the buildings rich and diverse heritage. A dark herringbone floor runs throughout each apartment, contrasting with the neutral colour palette chosen for the walls and high-quality furnishings.
